Anandi is happiness, and this saree is a reflection of happiness, This saree combines beautiful Forest Green colour with Sunrise Yellow golden zari border, making this saree look stunning. Gold and Silver leheriya stripes of floral patterns embellish the saree. The borders have a beautiful stripe of flowers and another stripe of dancing peacocks, reflecting the beautiful Indian heritage. The shape of peacock is considered as a rich expression in the arts of the Kanchipuram region.
Kanjivaram Sarees:
Kanjivaram sarees are woven from mulberry silk thread and the Zari of south India, the speciality of this saree is that the border and the pallav are woven separately and later joined together. The golden lustre of the zari threads. The pallav €™s colour is different in colour than that of the saree, it gives a graceful contrast. The medieval Indian literatures associated kanjivaram fabrics with gods.
