This design has been a classic one since decades, adorned with intricate and glorious Lehers (Lines which look like waves) made with golden zari threads. The border showcases magnificent floral motifs, symbolising the flowers of spring which bring positivity and happiness in one's life. The leheriya pattern was inspired by the holy Ganges in Varanasi, the Zari work taking the form of lines across the saree is a representation of the waves of Ganges.
