Where flowers bloom so does life, this Double Ikat saree is a sheer display of utmost traditional skills by our weavers, showcasing exemplary magnitude of intricacy. The design element of this saree has been drawn from the nature, consisting of classical designs rooting from Gujrat. These beautiful birds, animals and flowers have a charismatic design language which has been adorned since decades. Golden Zari along with various silk colours have been used to weave these motifs upon the saree, array of flowers have been woven upon the Pallav in Golden zari making this saree look distinctive.
Patola Sarees
The great fame of the ikat tradition of Gujarat owes much to the patola textiles now associated exclusively with Patan. Prized for the complexity of their double-ikat process and the unique, kaleidoscopic quality of their patterns, these silk textiles were used in western India for important ritual and ceremonial occasions by wealthy communities.The initial commissions established beyond doubt, the availability of the highest level of skill in the double-ikat technique of Patan.
